The Final Conference is organized by the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape
Architecture, University of Forestry (Bulgaria) with the aim to present the
WetMainAreas results and achievements. This wrap up event will be celebrated online on the 23 June 2020!
The Conference programme will cover the work done for the Balkan-Mediterranean wetland mapping and connectivity assessment and for the promotion of their cultural heritage and the presentation of the innovative IT services developed.
A round table discussion will offer opportunities for exchange on topics like “what could be the practical use of the WetMainAreas results for improving wetland conservation”, “how to promote BalkanMed cultural values for sustainable tourism“, “how the BalkanMed transnational collaboration on wetland conservation could continue ”, etc…
